Street racing? Yes, and it is sanctioned by the Dice-Prix Committee, which oversees all the components of the STREET series. Drivers can install various upgrades into their vehicles to give them a competitive edge.
Here at the Dice-Prix garage, we have 7 categories where drivers can spend their hard-earned cash.
Each category is separated into four tiers. Each tier increases each category's points. Whichever tier is installed would decide how much of a rise the car receives in performance. The modifications will stay installed in the vehicles until a new modification overrides the previous install.
A driver may only install one modification per category. For example, If a driver selects Tier 3 for TIRES, they may not purchase a second tier to add to their additional 3 Tires. But if they decide to buy a new Tier, the new modification will override the previous installation.
All the drivers had 22 pts to allocate wherever they chose, giving them certain advantages and disadvantages. These permanent pts will only be moved once a modification alters its designated pts. Every car is unique to its opponents. Even possibly to their teammates, as each team has one or two drivers.
Drivers are also encouraged to utilize their NOS tanks, giving them an added boost. As with the new rule changes, NOS can be used coming out of a turn into a straightaway. And on a straightaway. But, of course, it may not be used inside the red markers of a turn.
As for the drift, it may be utilized going into a turn but not after a NOS Boost. And it can also be executed within a turn, anytime inside the red markers.
